"The Cassandra Syndrome - The Hormone Holocaust"

is being written on-line by the director of the CPTwomen, Susan J Bucher, along with Dr. Vikki Hufnagel, MD, doctors, and with input from CPTwomen members.

The following are samples from the writings, outlines and ideas prepared for inclusion of a final published book.  In no means are these writings final.  The written text is in rough draft.  Spelling and grammatical errors are within.  Our main focus is the content to the text, not grammar.

We invite you to read in more detail at the members site, and to give input your ideas, ask questions, and make suggestions.  Please write your experiences being post tubal.   What has been told to you?    Dialogue may be included in the final published works.

  • Introduction Chapter, Dr Hufnagel

First of all most physicians will tell you that there is no such thing as PTS. I read so many self help books written by gynecologist’s giving advice to women. None of them, I felt were telling the full story. They had to have seen the same cases I saw. They could not be in practice and never have a woman complain after a BTL. This was not possible.
I commonly heard complaints of depression, hot flashes and the loss of sexual desire after a BTL. The most negative discussion I could find was a handful gynecologists claiming that a few women had minor  complications.
The routine complications that are discussed with women before their TL are bleeding, infection, and the risk of the anastasia. They are told that there are no side effects of the fallopian tube(s) being closed and that they will not suffer hormonal or physical changes and that their health will remain the same.
Statically, the death rate is about one in: 150,000. This is a low death rate for a commonly performed operation. Women hearing there are few complications and they will be free from worry about birth control get the feeling they are being given a ticket to have great sex.
The sales pitch is good. Better sex...no worries

  • OvaBloc writings: Dr. Hufnagel
    Chronicle for Ovibloc (Ovabloc)
The following is a calendar of what happened concerning the finding of the Ovibloc product. I found no one involved wanted to talk about this product and a cover-up has taken place. I hope making this public will help to educate the public. I will up date the out come of all this research in my next book. This will unfold here on the web for women come forth.
